Nicholas J.R. White is a photographer living on the Isle of Skye, in the north-west Highlands of Scotland.
He is a recipient of the Royal Photographic Society Environmental Bursary and the 2026 Ampersand Foundation/Photoworks Fellowship.
He works on selected commissions for The New York Times, The Guardian, The New Yorker, National Geographic, Financial Times + others.
Nicholas also works as a Skipper on whale watching boats on the Western Isles.
