For the 25th Anniversary of Spring Fling, I propose a migration from your existing WordPress site to an entirely new platform using Squarespace. What is Squarespace? You’re using it right now!

This is an all-in-one website platform. Its template driven, but with the freedom of full customisation. Squarespace combines hosting (for a small fee), design, content management, e-commerce and security into a single managed system.

Everything — from page layout to the online shop to security certificates — is built in and maintained centrally by Squarespace. There's no separate software to install, patch or troubleshoot, and administrators can be given varying degrees of control.

This makes it particularly well suited to organisations like Upland, where the website needs to be confidently and safely editable by staff without ongoing technical support.

Its visual, drag-and-drop editor means content changes, new pages and image updates can all be made directly by non-technical staff (although I’ll help you become experts) and its native commerce tools mean a shop, ticket sales and password-protected pages can be set up without any additional plugins or subscriptions. Having used Squarespace for over a decade — both for my own practice and in building sites for other clients — I've seen firsthand how well it balances ease of use with a genuinely professional, design-led result, which is exactly what Spring Fling's 25th anniversary website needs.
